The Board of Directors is responsible and accountable for the governance and corporate conduct of McKenzie’s Hope and its services.
Three years, at which members are eligible for consideration for a second three year term.
The Board currently meets the second Thursday of every month from 8:30 – 10 a.m. at the Child Advocacy Center.
The Board of Directors consists of a minimum of 8 members and no more than 15 members, including its Officers.
To make an annual personal gift in accordance with one’s means and attend special events in the community as able.
Articulate the Child Advocacy Center’s mission, accomplishments and goals to the public and garner support from the community.
Act in the best interest of McKenzie’s Hope, disclose any conflicts of interest and excuse themselves from discussions and votes where they have a conflict of interest.
A thorough criminal history background check will be conducted on all of the top applicants to the Board of Directors.
